Some fellow students of mine at the Ohio State University participated in a “flash mob” the other day at the Ohio Union, our new student union. I missed this by literally a few minutes. I went in to get tickets for something around 12:30pm. I thought there were an odd number of people just standing around doing “nothing.” Kinda disappointed I missed it.

FYI: The guy walking with Brutus near the end is Gordon Gee, our school president.

I, along with a group of friends, got bored the other night, and we stumbled upon this YouTube video. Who knew this guy’s name was so hard to pronounce. I’ll keep it short and sweet. Here’s the video.

Note: This is a “redo” of a previous post I had. I posted this video on YouTube, got close to a thousand views in a few days, then received a copyright notification from Fox. I don’t think they’ll complain if I post it here. If so, down she’ll go, like Stewie and Brian in the raft.

So for the last year or so, I didn’t watch Family Guy at any level of regularity, mainly because of the lack of DVR. I watched pretty much every season about 2 years ago, and I was borderline obsessed with it. However, with time, I’d grown tired of the mediocre plots, similar humor, and the… obscure randomness. I’d moved on to much more distinguished shows like Arrested Development and the Office

Now that I’m in a house at school with guys willing to pay for DVR, I’ve started watching a bit more than I had been. I sat down to watch the “Road to Germany” episode with some of the guys the other night, and while most of it was nothing exceptional, Stewie had a quote that made me laugh for about several minutes straight. I hadn’t laughed that hard at a TV show/movie for I don’t know how long.

Family Guy – We’re Not Sinking!

I came across this on StumbleUpon, and I think I laughed out loud by myself when I saw it.  That’s usually a good indication that it’s pretty funny. Okay… I may have just smiled. This has made its way around Digg, so it’s a good possibility that some of you have already seen it. Without delaying further… here she is…

*Snicker* Oh you Pokemon jokes. Ya get me every time.

If you don’t get it, it’s okay… it just means you were either kept in a box when you were younger or you’re…well… “in one’s dotage.” Okay, maybe you were “above” Pokemon. And by “above” I mean that you probably like bands people have never heard of… but don’t worry… we’ll like them soon, and you’ll have to force yourself to abhor them and go find another obscure band.
