For those of you who haven’t seen the Onion’s latest video about Apple’s “Revolutionary New Laptop,” you should check out the video below. Ha ha, it’s been awhile since I’d seen an Onion vid, and this didn’t disappoint. The guy at the end talking about the reasons he was going to buy it was hilarious. Let’s hope all of us Apple supporters don’t really sound like that…
I’m impressed by how real that thing looks… props to you Onion guys (… and girls).
So for the last year or so, I didn’t watch Family Guy at any level of regularity, mainly because of the lack of DVR. I watched pretty much every season about 2 years ago, and I was borderline obsessed with it. However, with time, I’d grown tired of the mediocre plots, similar humor, and the… randomness. I’d moved on to much more distinguished shows like Arrested Development and the Office
Now that I’m in a house at school with guys willing to pay for DVR, I’ve started watching a bit more than I had been. I sat down to watch the “Road to Germany” episode with some of the guys the other night, and while most of it was nothing exceptional, Stewie had a quote that made me laugh for about 15 minutes straight. I hadn’t laughed that hard at a TV show/movie for I don’t know how long.
Check out the YouTube video I uploaded below. The quote is right around the 15 second mark. I seriously think it’s the funniest part I’ve ever seen in Family Guy.
Two days ago, the first Android-equipped phone was demonstrated, and the internet has been all a-buzz with the latest and greatest information regarding Android. For those of you who have not heard of this strange name (no, I’m not talking about the bad guys in the game StarFox), it’s the name of Google’s cell phone operating system/software platform.
“50 People, One Question” by Benjamin Reece is one of the most touching short videos that I’ve seen in a while. It’s hard to point to what exactly struck that emotional chord, but my guess it has something to do with the deep implications that question arises. The music accompanying the video definitely adds a ton. The power of music is pretty incredible. It has always been something that fascinates me.
This video is a breath of fresh air. It brings back memories, stimulates the mind, and is quite inspirational all the while stirring up emotion. Even if you’re at work reading this, it’s worth taking the couple of minutes to watch. Shows the diversity of mankind while also the underlying similarities. It’s a pretty high-quality vid, so give it time to load. Enjoy.
Unless you abstain from all mainstream TV and social networking online, you’ve undoubtedly seen the latest Microsoft commercials and heard the buzz that they created. I wrote a little entry about the 1st Seinfeld/Gates commercial, sharing a bit of my disgust/confusion with Microsoft’s reasoning. While my opinion hasn’t completely changed, I must say that I’ve been fascinated by what I’ll call the “evolution” of viewer opinions. Read more…
