I just wanted to make a quick post sharing the good news. If you’re a student with a .edu email address, you’re eligible for a free year of Amazon Prime! I just signed up, and the process was very quick. I don’t think any strings are attached… just to be safe you might set up a reminder in your calendar a year from now to check and make sure there is no auto-renewal.
For those of you who like to buy books online instead of in overpriced college bookstores, make sure you take advantage of this. Free 2-day shipping and more? Heck ya. Keep in mind that this won’t include all 3rd party sellers that just post on Amazon. Hard to beat free, though. Enjoy!

Apparently there are some people out there who think the latest MacHeist bundle is more or less an insult to the developers who allowed their software to be included in the bundle. Their argument is that we (those deciding to participate in the MacHeist bundler) are greatly devaluing the hard work that was put into creating/coding the software.
Initially his does makes sense… I mean come on. Kinemac costs $299 alone! I’m getting it AND 11+ other apps for only $39?! BoinxTV (may be) included, too? That costs $199! Gees, way to show appreciation to programmers… and to think I might be one…
This is hardly the case. Read more…
MacHeist III Bundle

Good old MacHeist just released it’s third App Bundle! Woohoo!
This is a pretty good bundle, I must say. WireTap Studio is alone worth the price ($70 retail). It lets you record any audio that’s playing on your Mac to an audio file. I recently purchased this earlier this year… haven’t regretted it at all. It’s not unlocked yet in the bundle, but I guarantee it will be soon.
For those of you interested, I’d be grateful if you’d purchase the $40 bundle through this link –> http://www.macheist.com/bundle/u/94351/. If you’re just checking out the applications, you can look via that link, too.
I get some extra software if you buy through that link that I listed above… I really do think it’s a great deal… I’m not just trying to get more software. I promise
This post is more to spread the word than anything else. Not all of you will share the excitement, I’m sure, but in case one or two you might… it’d be worth it
. This can be a dream for the average web-designer.
MacHeist.com is offering 12 top of the line (well at least 1 or 2) Mac Apps for $49. This is a temporary offer, so act quick! If any of you has similar interests as myself, you’ll want to jump at this offer. A lot of these software bundles offer a lot of junk applications, and while this does offer some applications that you’d use hardly, if ever, there are enough that make it more than worth it. Actually it’s worth it if you’re interested in just one or two of the specific programs. Here’s a picture of the software that’s offered.
