Unless you abstain from all mainstream TV and social networking online, you’ve undoubtedly seen the latest Microsoft commercials and heard the buzz that they created. I wrote a little entry about the 1st Seinfeld/Gates commercial, sharing a bit of my disgust/confusion with Microsoft’s reasoning. All I can say is “FINALLY!” According to the article “Microsoft plans anti-Apple marketing blitz for Vista“, Microsoft is finally taking a stand to those Mac vs PC commercials (which I find humorous… being a Mac user and all).
It’ll be interesting to see how Microsoft progresses in these next months. I’m intrigued by a more-or-less Bill Gates-less Microsoft (the big man himself, finally stepped down… sort of… if you haven’t heard). It’s time for Microsoft to either boost its wavering reputation or simply take a seat while getting its PR stomped all over.
